battery and free rage chickens

The difference between free range eggs and battery eggs is that free range eggs is when a chicken is allowed to move around a filed, have a life and be free. They aren’t in cages or even locked away. They are well looked after and have a war place to sleep nice food to eat and are not forced to lay a egg un like the battery eggs. Also free range chicken don’t try and hurt themselves like the battery chicken because they are happy and free to do what they like.  However battery eggs are when a chicken is lock in a cage and can’t move sometime they might get infections. The chicken are keep in a cage with 5 other chickens and may never leave that cage until they die. Also the chicken feathers will start falling off because they aren’t looked after properly. I think that it is wrong to keep chickens in a cage and keep them inside so they don’t ever get to go outside and run around, I think people should treat the chicken properly and not force them to lay eggs or keep them in cages until they die. They should have nice food and a warm place to sleep and not with 5 other chickens.

The man is late for the scan of his child because he was buying a 99p Mcflurry. This is basically saying that you can be late for anything if you are buying a Mc Donald’s and no one will mind. Mc Donald’s are saying that they are worth being late for and not showing up. If you are late they are saying that, that person will forgive you because it’s Mc Donald’s.

100 word ghost story

 
Eloise lifted the silver chamber stick to her lips, with the tiniest breath the candle went out. Smoke rising in a soft weaving plume. Behind her, a sudden white glow caught her attention. She turned to see a white lady, dressed in a waterfall of silk, with long white curls over pale skin.

“Will you come with me?” whispered the white lady, slowly extending a pale white hand out to her.

“To where?” Eloise asked.

“To Dream’s End and new beginnings.” she whispered back.

Eloise shakily took her hand, and the white glow enveloped her. And all that she knew paled into insignificance.

i think this story because they had thought about it and it really grabs the readers attention because you want the know what happens after she took the ladies hand. They also describe the lady in detail but not that much that you start to get bored.

5 card flicker

It was the night of Halloween and me and my friend were on our way to go and see 1 direction live we had are tickets and are back stage passes. On our way to the concert we came across a big black building. It was old, creepy, scary and had a haunted look about it. It reminded me of those creepy black building, you see in horror films were you scream at the telly to tell the people not to go in.

We advantaged in any way to see what it was like, the house was covered in Halloween decorations, this gave the impression that there was live in the old building, did someone live here? We wondered up stairs, my friend was holding on to me in case something happened to her or to me. It didn’t look like anyone lived here the house was covered in cobwebs. It didn’t bother me,  that I was missing out on trick or treating because I was going to meet the band I love.

We had somehow found ourselves in the kitchen we knew this because there was pasta everywhere, everywhere you looked, pasta, pasta and more pasta we were guessing that this person loved pasta. We wanted to know what was in the front room so we went to have a look, I felt something go across my feet I scream at the top of my voice and jumped into my friends arms. She didn’t know what was happening until I told her I felt something go across my feet she looked down and saw a lizard and picked it up, I jumped with fright and then realised that it was only a baby lizard, my friend had her own pet lizard so wasn’t scared picking it up.

 Olivia my friend wanted to look around the rest of the house but I didn’t, but I didn’t want to sit in the car all on my own so I can with her just to look in 2 more rooms (the back bedroom and the back room down stairs). Back up the stairs we went my hand were shaking and the room went all dizzy I was that scared I held on the Olivia arm , she didn’t look one bit scared any more I didn’t know why I didn’t want to know at that very moment. The back bedroom was different to all the rest it wasn’t dark I was full of little girl stuff like dolls, doll houses and pink things. This was a bit strange because the rest of the house was all dark and black but this one room and covered in pink girly stuff, there was one poster up on the wall it was a 1 direction poster. Whoever this little girl was she really loved 1 direction more than me because as we went further in to her room there on the bed was the 1 direction blanket. If we saw the girl we were going to ask her if she wanted to come the see them with us and as soon as I had said that the little girl had said I would love to see them with you just let me get my coat. She had long black hair all the way down to the floor and was as whit as snow.

On the car journey to the concert the radio was playing 1 direction live while we are young and all 3 of us sang are way to the concert and got to meet them back stage to

homework for friday 12/10/12

On the 12^th of may 1986 19 climbers started climbing mount hood in America at 3 am. During the accent 6 members turned back early because of illness or exhaustion. The other climbers climbed to above 3000m level. Around 3 pm they had to turn because due to poor weather conditions. They took the decision the sleep over on the mountain so started to dig a snow cave for protection. The next day 2 members of the party went down the mountain to summon help. On the 14 th may, the search party found 3 climbers frozen to death and the other 8 members of the party were found on the 15 th of may in a snow cave. Only 2 of the 8 members found alive. 3 of the 4 survivors had life- threatening hypothermia and one had to have their legs amputated.

touching the void homework

I lolled on the rope, scarcely able to hold my head up.  He was an experienced climber but because of the cold he was having trouble holding on to the rope and holding his head up.  He was tired and was hoping that the situation would end soon. He didn’t want to suffer.  He just wanted it to be over.This created tention by showing that was wansnt able he was scarcely able.

 

How long will you be Simon?  I thought.  How long   you join me?  He was doubting his ability to save his friend.  He was worried that they would both to their deaths and he couldn’t do anything to prevent it.  Nobody would know what had happened to them.This creates tention because he is asking questions so maybe he was worried about that his friend had gone or somehting had happen to his friend.

 

The torch beam died because the cold had killed the batteries.  The storm was over.  He was pleased that the danger had perhaps gone.  Maybe he would be able to save them after all.  Things looked bright and he felt like he was floating on air.  He was at peace.This created tention becuiase he doesnt know what is there or what is going the happen to him and his freind.

 

Then, what |I had waited for pounced on me.  Suddenly things changed as the rope lashed violently against my face and I fell silently as if in a dream.  Did he fall or was he just dreaming because of the cold.This created tention because we dont know what he was waiting for so it could be anything.
